  1. Where has information been obtained about you?

We have obtained personal and business information about you from one or more of the following sources:

  • Our own research of data in the public domain
  • Bought in marketing lists from GDPR compliant organisations. We use Market Location for email data. Market Location is part of the 118 Group and can be contacted at services@118group.co.uk
  • Data from third party sources such as Zoominfo and LinkedIn

 

  1. What information have we collected about you?

The information gathered from sources in 1. includes the following:

  • Name – first name, last name
  • Title
  • Job title
  • Business name
  • Business postal address
  • Email address
  • Phone numbers
  • LinkedIn address

 

We recognise that job title, business name and address and business phone number may not fall into the category of personal data (as defined by the GDPR) unless it can be used to directly or indirectly identify you. It is included here to ensure that this is considered in our processing decisions.

  1. How does Bax Interaction use your personal information?

We collect personal and business information about you:

  • To send marketing information to you that we consider to be directly relevant and in your interests. We have assessed this to be Legitimate Interests as a lawful basis.
  • You have the right at any time to opt-out from this by unsubscribing from our emails or you can click here

We will only use your information for the purpose or purposes it was collected for unless the lawful basis changes. For example, by the processing purpose becoming contractual or consent based.

We may share your personal information with our commercial partners (email marketing providers) for the above purposes. They will act as processors only.

We will not share your personal details with any other third parties without your permission.

We only transfer data to server locations that are secure and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) compliant. See section 7 for detail on transfers of data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

How long do we hold your data for?

We keep your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is being processed.  This is to reduce the risk that it will become inaccurate, out of date or irrelevant.

We ensure that your personal data is securely disposed of when no longer needed or you unsubscribe.

  • We hold your data on our secure server
  • We may share email relevant data with an email marketing provider expressly for the above purposes

How do we keep your data secure?

Our server is protected by a firewall. Log in details are securely shared internally between employees.

We may transfer email specific data outside the EEA solely for the purposes described. This data will only be transferred to processors where a data sharing agreement is in place and that are in countries where an adequacy provision exists and any requirements that apply to this have been met and evidenced.

This data would be deleted following completion of the specific processing activity.

How do I find out what information you hold about me?

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email us at info@baxinteraction.co.uk or write to Bax Interaction Ltd., St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge. CB4 0WS.

Please include your name, phone number and postcode to validate your request. We will provide the information to you within 30 days.

There is no charge for this service.

How do I correct any details that you hold about me that are incorrect?

We want to make sure that your personal information, which we hold, is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove any information you think is inaccurate. Please email us at info@baxinteraction.co.uk  and include your name, phone number and postcode to validate your request. We will action the requested correction without delay.

How do I remove my details from your database?

To remove your information from our database, just send an email along with your name, phone number and postcode to info@baxinteraction.co.uk . If we no longer need to hold your personal information for legal, contractual or vital interests’ purposes, we will action this without delay and erase all your information. An email confirmation will be sent to you.

What can I do if I object to your processing my data for marketing purposes?

You have a right to object to us processing your personal data for marketing purposes. You can notify of this by emailing us at info@baxinteraction.co.uk . We will stop processing your data as soon as we receive your request.

Bax Interaction is a marketing research, strategy and development training company. We use these three elements to help individuals and organisations to grow. To enable us to market these services we source prospective customer data from third party sources and our own research activities. We use this data solely for the purposes of communicating our services to you.

We consider that this use of corporate subscribers’ data is what you would reasonably expect, has minimal privacy impact and is justified from a commercial interests’ perspective.

In the event that any further processing purpose may be considered, we would provide you with information on that purpose and any, relevant, further details prior to undertaking this.

We do not use any automated decision making or profiling.
