Bax Interaction was established in Cambridge in 2005 to provide organisations with the insight to inform and the capability to implement effective marketing and business strategies.

Over the last 17 years the business has helped organisations big and small to use research insights gathered in the ever changing market environment to achieve measurable success.

The word Interaction was chosen when the business was established to reflect the nature of what effective marketing and research is all about. This has always been at the heart of what Bax Interaction does. Steve Bax – Managing Director

Steve is a strategic marketing and research expert. Over 35 years experience has given him the ability to quickly identify and understand how markets, organisations and individuals interact. He combines this with the capability to generate strategies that can sustain and grow brands through assessing where changes can be made to better match stakeholder needs and wants. He has an insatiable curiosity for exploring new ideas and approaches and how they can be applied.

He is an active full member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Market Research Society (MRS) as well as a Chartered Marketer .

Steve is an Emeritus Fellow of Cambridge Marketing College, one of the largest marketing study centres in Europe, and was a senior marketing tutor at the College for 27 years. He has recently delivered the Leading Change, Consultancy and Managing Business Growth on the CIM Leadership programme (post graduate) and Innovation in Marketing module at Diploma level.

He is a distance learning tutor for Anglia Ruskin University on the Digital Marketing BSc programme and also the link tutor for two apprenticeship cohorts on the programme.

Steve has particular interests in the behavioural aspects of marketing and in developing people. He is an accredited practitioner for: The Personality Assessment (HPTI- High Potential Trait Indicator), The Behaviour Assessment (PPA – Personal Profile Analysis) and Emotional Intelligence Assessment (TEIQue – Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire) psychometric assessments from Thomas.

Steve has written books on research and digital marketing and numerous student guides and course materials.

Steve has the ability to build rapport and trust with people of all ages and from all walks of life. He brings enthusiasm, energy, focus, and empathy to any project. Perhaps, most importantly, he tells it as it is!
